Where those values never go

None of the values above are ever placed in:

• URLs, query strings, or referrer headers
• Analytics events or properties
• Error reports
• Server or hosting logs
• Any export you did not explicitly ask for

Share a link from this site and it carries the page address, nothing about you.

Exports

Export files are private

You can export your lineup as a file, but only when you explicitly choose to. That file can contain the personal values listed above, so treat it as private. Keep it on your own device or personal backup. Do not upload it to shared drives, forums, or any site that asks for it.

Your controls

How to clear everything

Open My lineup and use the clear control there. It removes everything CollegeLineup has stored in this browser: saved colleges, categories, notes, and every tool input. Clearing this site's data in your browser settings does the same thing.

Analytics

No analytics in this version

This version of CollegeLineup runs no analytics script at all. If that ever changes, this page will be updated before any analytics script is added, and any future measurement would use coarse, anonymous events that never include your form values.
